Our commitment
Balzano Consulting considers accessibility a quality of the project, not a function added at the end. The site is developed to support keyboard navigation, assistive technologies, text magnification, reflow on narrow screens, and motion and contrast preferences.
Reference standard
The technical objective adopted is alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA. This work also considers the principles of the European Accessibility Act and the applicable Italian legislation, in relation to the nature and functions actually offered by the service.
Available functions
- semantic structure, ordered titles and link to jump directly to the content;
- navigation and controls usable from the keyboard, with visible focus indicators;
- alternative texts for information images and exclusion of decorations from assistive technologies;
- high contrasts in the black, white and acid palette, without relying on color alone;
- complete reduction of animations, also based on operating system preferences;
- adjustable text size, concentration mode and visual support for different color perceptions;
- responsive components designed for reflow and touch use.
Preferences are available via the button with the universal accessibility symbol, always visible on the side of the page.
Compatibility and checks
The site uses standard HTML5, CSS and JavaScript and is designed for recent versions of major browsers. Automatic and manual checks are repeated during development; testing with different combinations of browser, operating system and assistive technology remains an ongoing activity.
External limits and content
Some features depend on external services, including contact form spam checking, fonts, and icon library. Their yield may vary and is not entirely controlled by Balzano Consulting. If a component prevents access to content or a function, we offer a direct alternative channel.
